Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 June 2026

This privacy policy explains how Zayn (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website or get in touch with us. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and any applicable provincial privacy laws.

Who we are

Zayn is a digital marketing service operated by Hasan Mohamedali, trading as “Zayn”, providing services to businesses in Canada.

For any questions about this policy or your personal information — or to reach the person responsible for our privacy practices — you can contact us at hello@zayndigital.ca.

What information we collect

We only collect the information we need to respond to you and run our website:

  • Information you give us via our contact form — your name, email address, business name, and the contents of your message.
  • Technical information collected automatically — when you visit the site, our hosting provider may log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. This is used for security, performance, and to keep the site running.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and our website is not directed at children.

How we use your information

We collect, use, and disclose your personal information only with your consent and for the purposes set out here:

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the information or services you request.
  • To maintain the security and performance of our website.

We will only use your information for the purpose you provided it for. We will not send you marketing emails unless you have separately asked us to, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics. Some essential technical data may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site (see below). We also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser’s IP address is shared with Google in order to display those fonts.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate the website, who handle it on our behalf:

  • Netlify — hosts our website and processes contact form submissions on our behalf. Form data you submit is stored in our Netlify account so we can read and respond to your enquiry. See Netlify’s privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.
  • Google Fonts — serves the fonts used on the site. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Where your information is processed

Our service providers, and our own operations, may store and process your information outside Canada — including in the United States and the United Kingdom. While it is outside Canada, your information may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, and government or regulatory authorities of those countries under their laws. We take reasonable steps to ensure any provider handling your information protects it with appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep your information

We keep contact enquiries only as long as necessary to respond to you and for our reasonable business records — typically up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we enter into an ongoing working relationship or you ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your privacy rights

Under Canadian privacy law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Withdraw your consent to our use of your information (subject to legal or contractual restrictions)
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@zayndigital.ca. We will respond within 30 days.

Concerns and complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC):

Depending on your province, you may also be able to contact your provincial privacy regulator.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
